About Nicole

Hi, I'm an artist creating from my sunny home studio, on an acreage near Saskatoon, SK, Canada.

​Often inspired by the stunning skies and landscapes of the Canadian prairies, my work explores themes of mindfulness, connection, and finding beauty in everyday moments. ​

​I’ve had a passion for creating art for as long as I can remember, and in late 2018, while home with my young children, I took the leap from painting as a hobby to pursuing art professionally (more on that journey here).

​Since then, I've been fortunate to share my art with collectors across North America. I’ve also had the opportunity to create beautiful products like fine art prints, greeting cards, notebooks & stationery, available through retailers including Minted, Target, T.J. Maxx and West Elm.

​Creating art helps me to see the world through a lens of gratitude, seeking beauty and appreciating smaller details about the world around me. It may be the way sunlight shines through leaves, a specific shade of blush on the horizon, or the vast expanse of a prairie sky - there is so much beauty in this world woven throughout ordinary moments, I feel compelled to capture it and share with others through my work.

​If someone can look at my art and feel the same sense of calm & joy that I felt in the moments that inspired it , then I know I have succeeded.
