About Nicole
Nicole Walsh is a Canadian artist living near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Working primarily with acrylics, colour shifting pigments and 24-karat gold, she creates light-filled abstract landscapes inspired by the expansive skies, shifting light and sense of peace around her home in the prairies.
Since establishing her full-time practice in 2018, Walsh's work has found its way into private collections across North America and been featured by global brands, including Samsung, West Elm, and Minted.

I have loved making art for as long as I can remember. My childhood was spent drawing, painting, and experimenting with any other medium I could find. That same sense of curiosity and play continues to guide my studio practice today.
My process is intuitive and memory-driven, less concerned with depicting a literal place than with translating how it feels to stand inside it.
I’m drawn to expansive skies, shifting light, luminous pastels paired with rich earthy tones, and semi-transparent layers that create a sense of depth, atmosphere, and history.
I hope my work offers you a moment of presence, bringing a calm, grounding energy to the spaces you love.
