About Nicole

Nicole Walsh is a Canadian artist whose paintings embody calm and presence. Drawing inspiration from the expansive skies and shifting light around her Saskatchewan-based studio, she creates layered, light-filled abstract landscapes that distill the beauty of nature into peaceful, grounding, and emotionally resonant expressions. 

Since establishing her full-time practice in 2018, Walsh has garnered international recognition, with her work held in private collections across North America. Her distinctive approach to color and light has sparked partnerships with global brands, including Samsung, West Elm, Target, and Minted.

Born and raised on the Canadian prairies, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of the open skies, shifting light, and spacious fields around me. This connection to the landscape continues to guide my creative process today.

I paint mostly from memory, aiming to capture the feeling of a moment rather than a specific view.

I hope my work offers you a moment of presence, bringing a calm, grounding energy to the spaces you love.
